Former Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean has been appointed interim coach of struggling Melbourne Victory following the sacking of Grant Brebner.
Kean joined the Victorys coaching staff in the off-season as an assistant to Brebner.
But the 53-year-old Scotsman will take charge until the end of the season after Brebner was axed in the wake of the last-placed Victorys disastrous 7-0 weekend loss to Melbourne City at AAMI Park.
