West Coast assistant coach Jaymie Graham concedes changes coming for Eagles after Fremantle’s big win

West Coast assistant coach Jaymie Graham admits the team needs to improve rapidly to be ready for round one after losing to Fremantle by 47 points during today’s practice match at Mineral Resources Park.

The Eagles were without a host of big names including Nic Naitanui, Josh Kennedy, Tim Kelly and Elliot Yeo, while Luke Shuey, Jeremy McGovern and Tom Barrass were on restricted minutes, but West Coast struggled to display the traits that have consistently made them a finals team.

With only one more game to prepare for round one, Graham said the squad didn’t have time to waste.

“We did talk about that. We’ve got one more game against the same opposition to really sharpen up for that round one contest Gold Coast,” he said.
